Patient Admitting Protocol

Dear Patient,

Due to the current pandemic situation, we have implemented stringent protocol to keep you, your family, and our staff safe and healthy. Our technologists have been screened for Coronavirus, trained, and are following strict protocol. All contact surfaces in patients’ rooms and control rooms are disinfected and cleaned. Technologists will wear gowns, gloves, goggles, and surgical masks. A limited number of patients are allowed in the lab. All patients will have their temperature taken and will be screened for Coronavirus. To help us maintain a safe environment, we ask that you please practice the following guidelines during your study and your stay in our lab.
  1. Upon entering the lab, please follow the technician’s directions.
  2. Please let the technician know if you have any medical conditions that can affect your study.
  3. Please stay in your allocated room and avoid walking in the hallway, entering other rooms etc. Use washrooms when needed.
  4. Respiratory stations will be close to your room and are equipped with sanitizer, face mask, and clean wipes. Please wear your face mask during your stay. Masks can be removed during the study or when advised by the technician.
  5. Please keep your personal belongings in plastic bags and seal them with a knot. A technician can provide you with one if needed. Please only bring your sleepwear, do not bring any pillows, pillow cases, blankets etc.
  6. A technician can provide you with a disposable glass to drink water upon request.
  7. Unfortunately shower facilities are suspended.
  8. At the conclusion of the study, please inform the technician and leave the lab through the assigned exit.
We thank you for your cooperation and by following these guidelines we can help keep you, your family, and our staff safe.

Thank you,
Medical Director.
